The word of the Grand Master
2011 is complete, and I hope that it has been a year for you accompanied by as it must be of good wine at every meal. I also hope that you have continued to proclaim that it was successful for each of the valiant Knights universal of the Knights of the Cep high and strong your love of wine and to transmit it.
Thanks to all those who support us throughout the year
For 2012, the crisis does not prevent us to continue to enjoy, share and appreciate good wine. And that we we open to the outside, to expand and create circles throughout the world. The entry of a young Japanese and three people of American nationality in dance, in October 2011 leads us to believe!

The prefect of the region Languedoc Roussillon inducted Chevalier of Cep
Traditional reunion of the Chevaliers du Cep held, October 8, 2011, at the international fair in the Park of exhibitions of Montpellier. This meeting was an opportunity for the Grand Master, Alain Causse, who chaired the 62nd chapter, to induct new figures demonstrated their love of good wine.
This year, the prefect of the region, Mr Claude Baland, has given him also promise to glorify the vine and wine. He acknowledged that the wine is one of his passions, if not his passion.
Is no easy however reconcile his passion and his service to the extent it did not fail to recall that the Hérault is very affected by fatal accidents on the roads.
The new Knights are also among them Professor Paul-André Chaptal, cardiologist Emeritus, and J.Cheminal, young producer of a famous Vic the Gardiole muscat. Three Americans have also been inducted and thus give rise to the circle of Seatle (U.S.A.) beside THOSE OF Bourgogne
( France), Italie, Australia…..
Initially International Fair of the Vine and Wine, the international fair saw Saturday, to meet not less than 130 from Knights of different guilds. Dresses, colours and trumpet were development as in the usual and the Japan was honoured with a presentation on the culture of wine to the Japan which tends to grow, by a dancer classical Japanese, Fumika Pathy, also young inducted.
After a parade of honour in the stalls of the fair, followed by a friendly aperitif during which were tasted wines from qualities offered by several present confraternities and wine country of Oc, the Knights continued their road until the Valmagne Abbey where they were taking their soûl (but with moderation!), as did not want the remind Mr Baland.
Evening, the Knights sword, symbol of the wine-growing defence, was sent to the brotherhood of St Romain in Bordeaux and country Libourne in the brotherhood of Picpoul de Pinet.
